BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Visiting Washington College hit .372 as a team on its way to sweeping host Bryn Mawr 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-10) in a Centennial Conference volleyball match on Wednesday night at Class of 1958 Gymnasium. The Shorewomen improve to 10-5 on the season and 1-1 in the Centennial, while the Owls drop to 5-8 and 0-3 respectively.

How it Happened
- In the first set,
Bethany Haughton started a 5-0 run with a kill as the Shorewomen led 6-4 following the run. Trailing 13-12,
Izzy Diehl got a kill to tie up the set at 13-13. Even at 20-20, WC tallied the set's decisive 5-2 closing run to win by three.
Gianna Folke and
Lyndsey Wessel won back-to-back points for the Shorewomen on kills to lead 22-20 followed by a
Lucy Jones ace to make it 23-20. The set than finishes with a kill from Wessel and a hitting error by Bryn Mawr, for a 25-22 first set result.
