CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Stevens got the better of host Washington College 4-3 inside the Johnson Fitness Center on Sunday afternoon inside the Johnson Fitness Center in a non-conference women's tennis match.

Doubles
- The Ducks rebounded from losing the first doubles match to finish to earn the doubles point.
Soleil Namunyola and
Eva Kading won for the Shorewomen in the first match to conclude, 6-3. Stevens evened the match at third doubles in the second match to finish in a 6-2 result against the duo of of
Isabella Sorhegui and
Gaby Coutts. The visitors took the doubles point at No. 2 in a 6-3 score against the team of
Jess Wilde and
Juanita Arbelaez.
Singles
- Second singles was the first match to be settled as Arbelaez won both sets for the Shorewomen by scores of 6-1, 6-1.
- The top flight went to the way of Stevens in a 6-1, 6-3 decision against Washington's Kading.
- Namunyola leveled the match at 2-2 for the home side with a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 3.
- Stevens got the better of Sorhegui in three sets at No. 4, 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 to give the road side a 3-2 advantage.
- The Ducks captured the match in the penultimate match to finish at No. 5 rallying from a 6-1 loss in the first set to
Sofia Sperandei to win the next two sets by scores of 6-3, 6-3 score.

Jayda Browne won the final match to be completed at No. 6 for the Shorewomen by scores of 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.
Notes
- The Shorewomen are 3-1 on the season, while the Ducks improve to 4-0.
