COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Host Ursinus topped visiting Washington College, 95-70, on Saturday afternoon at Helfferich Hall in Centennial Conference men's basketball action in the conference opener for both squads. The Bears finish the regular season at 17-8 overall and 10-3 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen finish the season at 10-15 and 0-13 respectively.

How It Happened
- David Carr Jr. put Washington ahead 10-6 just 4:13 into the game on a three-pointer.
- The Shoremen led 23-21 following a driving layup by Carr Jr. before the Bears totaled 10 unanswered points to grab a 31-23 lead with 5:51 remaining before halftime.
- Ursinus, who led by as many as 14 in the first half, took an 11-point lead into the break at 48-37.
- In the second half, Ursinus outscored Washington, 47-33, as the lead fluctuated between 10 and 25 points.

For The Shoremen (10-15, 0-13 CC)
- Carr Jr. (17 points), Ty Woodland (12 points), Max Portnoy (11 points), Jacob Becker (career-best eight rebounds to tie for game-high and contest-leading two rejections), Jaedon Harris (four assists)
- The Shoremen shot 43% (26-for-61) from the floor, 31% (11-for-35) from three-point range and 64% (7-for-11) from the foul line. 
- Washington had 14 turnovers and 33 rebounds in the contest.
- The Shoremen outscored the Bears 40-32 in bench points.
