CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College tallied a 6-1 victory over visiting Goucher on Saturday afternoon outside at Schottland Tennis Center in non-conference women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen won all three doubles to register the doubles point. Third doubles wrapped up first as
Gaby Coutts and
Carrie Lord recorded a 6-0 win. The tandem of
Juanita Arbelaez and
Jess Wilde clinched the doubles point for the home side in a 6-1 result. The top flight was the last to conclude and it was
Soleil Namunyola and
Eva Kading coming away with a 6-3 triumph.
Singles
- Coutts cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 in the first match to end.
- In fifth singles, Wilde coasted a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
- Sperandei put the match in the win column for Washington with a 6-3, 6-0 score at No. 3.
- Arbelaez netted a 6-4, 6-0 result at the top flight.
- The Gophers notched their lone victory over the Shorewomen's
Samy Fawzi Sanchez at fourth singles in a 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (17-15).
