Clearwater, FL – The Washington College women's lacrosse team took down Merchant Marine Academy in their second game of their Spring Break Travel Trip. Mia Salvatierra and Piper Evans both led the Shorewomen with seven points each.

How it Happened
- The Shorewomen scored the first three goals of the game within the first five minutes of play. Lis Braswell scored first assisted by Piper Evans. Evans then scored assisted by Anna Wilson, and then Wilson returned the favor putting the Shorwomen up 3-0 early.
- Merchant Marine scored back-to-back twice before Mia Salvatierra had the answer putting the Shorewomen back up two, 4-2.
- The Shorewomen ended the first period up four, 7-3.
- Malery Andrews started the second period with a goal from an assist by Mac Grogan. She then scored a man up goal with 9:36 to play in the half off an assist by Braswell who secured a ground ball 12 seconds earlier.
- The Shorewomen held Merchant Marine at four goals and ended the half up 10, 14-4.
- The Shorewomen held their comfortable lead of ten with 9:58 left to play in the fourth quarter. Sammie Silvaggio scored a man up goal with 8:40 remaining to put the Shorewomen up 11. The last goal of the game for the Shorewomen came thanks to Evans. The Shorewomen ended the game up nine, 20-11.
