Fleetwood, PA – The Washington College Golf team finished in 5th place out of seven teams at the Moselem Cup hosted by Ursinus. The Shoremen beat out PSU-Berks by 12 strokes and Eastern by a mere one stroke.

Round One:
The Shoremen ended round one with a total score of 330. Matt Young led the Shoremen after round one with a score of 78, eight over. Young earned two birdies on the ninth and seventeenth holes. Teddy Howard shot the next best with an 82 with one birdie on hole ten. Johnathan Stumpff was right behind shooting an 83 for 13 over.
Round Two:
Stumpff shot the best in round two shooting a 78 with one birdie on hole six. Young followed with an 81 on the day. Howard shot one more than he did on day one with an 83. R.P. Johnson finished round two shooting 15 over with an 85.
Young finished tied for 11th place overall with a total score of 159 for a combined 19 over.
Stumpff earned 14th shooting a combined 21 over. Howard finished tied for 17th with 25 over. Johnson landed tied for 31st with a combined 32 over par.

The Shoremen will compete at the Centennial Conference Championships on Friday April 24th to Sunday April 26th at Waynesboro Country Club in Waynesboro, PA.
