How It Happened

  • Brady Wozniak doubled to right center as the second batter in the top of the fourth. Ty Everitt followed with a single to center field. Wozniak was batted in by Ty Powell who hit into a fielder's choice. The Shoremen left the half inning still down, 5-1.
  • The Blue Jays scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth to go up, 12-1.
  • Chase Ruppel singled up the middle in the top of the fifth with two outs. Reese Hirsh was the next batter up and sent both Ruppel and himself home with a home run to left field. The Shoremen were down nine, 12-3.

The next at bat, Brett Connolly doubled down the right field line to send Kokinis home and the Shoremen were down eight, 13-5.
