#9 Bullets Down Shoremen in CC Tournament Semifinal, 18-6

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Host #9 Gettysburg bested visiting Washington College, 18-6, in the semifinal round of the Centennial Conference Tournament on Thursday evening on Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. The Bullets, the tournament's two seed, are now 11-4 on the season, while the Shoremen, the tournament's third seed, are 12-6.

How It Happened
- Jake Arcudi got the Shoremen on the board with 5:36 left in the first quarter to trim the Bullets lead to 2-1. Gettysburg however would score three times in the final minute to take a 5-1 lead after one.
- In the second quarter, the Bullets held a 6-1 advantage to lead 11-2 at halftime. Jake Laubach scored Washington's goal with 45 seconds remaining before halftime from Nicky Bond.
- The Shoremen outscored the Bullets 4-3 in the third quarter with the home side taking a 14-6 advantage into the fourth.
- Gettysburg netted all four in the fourth quarter to provide the final margin.

For The Shoremen (12-6)
- Scoring: Peyton Gestole (goal and two assists), Bond (goal and assist)
- In Goal: Skeet Hine (17:43, seven goals allowed, three saves), Keegan Dunn (42:17, 11 goals allowed, nine saves)
- Max McKenna (5-for-9 on face-offs), Connor Updegraff (five ground balls to match season-best), Patrick Rodgers and Paxson Warnock (two caused turnovers)
- Washington totaled 29 shots, was 20-for-24 in clears in the contest and 1-for-4 in man-up situations.
- The Shoremen picked up 25 ground balls, had 22 turnovers, while causing eight Gettysburg turnovers.
