St. Mary's City, MD- The Washington College Women's rowing team competed in the Civilian's Cup against St. Mary's College of Maryland and Loyola.
The Shorewomen finished third in the Varsity Eight race in due to a crab about 100m from the finish line. The boat came to a stop and had to reset their equipment and then began racing. They crossed the finish line in 7:29.31.
The Varsity Four came in third with a time of 8:55.11. They finished behind both Loyola boats and won out over St. Mary's College of Maryland by 23 seconds.
