Haverford, PA- Washington College Softball falls to host Haverford College. Haverford put up 20 runs off 25 hits against the Shorewomen on the day.

How It Happened
- Gracelyn Goforth recorded the first hit of the day for the Shorewomen in the top of the fourth inning. She singled over the left fielder's head to put her on first base. Cece Johnston was walked as two runners sat on base for the Shorewomen. Grace Allen batted in Goforth and the Shorewomen were on the board trailing, 2-1.
- Haverford exploded in the bottom of the fourth, scoring 10 runs to go up 12-1 over the Shorewomen.
- Emma Trainer singled down the left field line in the top of the fifth to try and gain momentum back for the Shorewomen. She was out at second as Jenna Harper hit into a fielder's choice. Haverford recorded the final two outs of the inning and took the game 12-1.

How It Happened
- The Fords scored the first three runs of the game in the bottom of the second inning.
- Jenna Harper recorded the first hit of the game for the Shorewomen in the top of the next inning. Her single down the right field line put her on base, but she could not be batted in as the Shorewomen trailed, 3-0.
- Cece Johnston was walked to begin the top of the fourth inning. Julia Weglarz moved her to second and earned herself a base with a single to centerfield right after. Grace Allen moved both runners up with a successful sacrifice bunt. The Shorewomen had two in scoring position with only one out. Emma Trainer singled up the middle to send one run across the plate. The Shorewomen left the inning down, 4-1.
- Haverford scored one run in the bottom of the fourth and three in the bottom of the fifth to extend their lead, 8-1.
- Grace Allen singled to the shortstop with two outs, but was left on base as Haverford recorded the third out of the inning.
- The Shorewomen defense recorded three straight outs as they headed into the top of the seventh to attempt a comeback.
- Anna McCabe walked to earn herself first base with one out. Lindsay Worley, who pinch ran for McCabe, advanced to second on a wild pitch. Harper grounded out, but Worley was able to advance to third with two outs. A fly out to centerfield put the game away for the Fords as they took it, 8-1.
