BALTIMORE, Md. – Ursinus downed Washington College 9-1 in the first elimination game of the 2026 Centennial Conference Baseball Tournament on Saturday on Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium on the campus of Johns Hopkins. The Bears, the fourth seed, improves to 24-17-1 on the season, while the third seeded Shoremen conclude their campaign at 22-20.

How It Happened
- Ursinus struck for a pair of one out runs in the top of the third inning on consecutive base hits to take a 2-0 lead.
- In the top of the fourth, the Bears pushed their lead to 3-0 on a ground ball double play.
- The Shoremen got on the board in the bottom half of the fourth on a base hit up the middle by
Tahir Parker that drove in
Ty Everitt with two away.
- A sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth with one out gave Ursinus a 4-1 advantage.
- Ursinus posted a five-spot in the top of the ninth capped by a two-run single to right with two away to provide the final margin.

- Connolly tied the Centennial Conference mark for hits in a season by a freshman with 67. The rookie tied the mark on a base hit up the middle in the bottom of the fifth. Connolly joins
