NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Recently graduated Washington College women's lacrosse student-athlete
Mia Salvatierra (Bel Air, Md./Fallston) has been selected to play in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, May 30, at 10 a.m. on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. Salvatierra will play for the Blue All-Stars in the game versus the White All-Stars.
Salvatierra, an attacker, was named the female recipient of the College's 2026 Eldridge Eliason Award for "who, with scholastic standing in the upper half of the class, has accomplished the most in the field of athletics." Salvatierra was also named IWLCA Division III All-Metro Region first team this spring and All-Centennial Conference honors three times, landing second team recognition twice and first team as a senior. As a senior, she tallied team-highs of 39 assists, also a personal-best, and 84 points, while placing second in goals with 45. She finished her career at Washington with 168 goals and 104 assists for 272 points, ranking second all-time in program history in points, third in assists and fifth in goals.
There is no admission charge to attend the game on Saturday. The Division III game is the first game of a tripleheader with the Division I game next at 12:30 p.m. and concluding with the Division II game at 3 p.m.
