NEW YORK, N.Y. – Rising sophomore Grayson Bishop (Knoxville, Tenn./L N Stern Academy) has been named to the 2026 Empacher-IRCA Division III All-America honorable mention by the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA). This is the first time Bishop has attained All-American status.   

Bishop earned All-MARC Varsity honors as a freshman this past spring and sat primarily in the eighth seat in the varsity eight boat. The varsity eight boat earned a silver medal at the Dad Vail Regatta in May. 

Bishop is the first Shoreman to be named All-American by the IRCA since Max Moore '22, who was a second team honoree.
