CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Senior midfielder/forward
Kaileigh Brady (Hockessin, Del./St. Mark's) scored the game-winning goal with 3:02 left from just over 30 yards away to break a 2-2 tie as host Washington College netted its first all-time win over Salisbury in women's soccer, 3-2, on Tuesday afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in a non-conference women's soccer contest. It was the season-opener for both teams.

How It Happened
- The Sea Gulls scored the opening goal off a corner kick 3:38 into the first half.
- Washington tied it at the 19:19 mark as Brady found
Sophie Kilbride who scored from the top of the box into the upper portion of the middle of the net.
- Brady chalked up an assist with 1:58 to go before halftime on a through ball that found
Dafny Vasquez who slipped the shot just inside the left post from the top of the 18 to give the Shorewomen a 2-1 lead after halftime.
- Salisbury tied it in the 59th minute on a rebounded shot to level it at 2-2.
- The scored remained tied until Brady's winner as she received a pass from
Lily Barnum and the shot from about 32 yards out found the upper left portion of the net for the winning tally.
- The Sea Gulls had two shots the rest of the way, but one was saved by
Olivia Allen and the other was off target.

- Scorers: Brady (goal and two assists), Kilbride and Vasquez (goal), Barnum (assist)
- Goalkeepers: Allen (2 saves, 0 goals allowed, 59:47)
- Tallied 14 shots and three corner kicks for the match.

- The Shorewomen topped the Sea Gulls for the first time in eight meetings.
