FREDERICK, Md. – Visiting Washington College scored two first half goals and it would stand up in a 2-0 win over host Hood on Saturday afternoon at Thomas Athletic Field in a non-conference women's soccer meeting. The Shorewomen are now 3-2-0 on the season, while the Blazers fall to 1-3-0.

Danica Ross put the Shorewomen ahead for the rest of the game at the 10:36 mark from 25 yards out into the upper left corner of the goal after Washington stole a Hood clearing attempt. For Ross, it was her first career score.

Sophie Kilbride near the top of the box on the right side and netted it into the upper left 90 from the right side at 10 yards away.
