Freshman Ethan Kimmins (Basehor, Kan./Basehor-Linwood) of trap & skeet is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Kimmins won two events and placed second in another event at this weekend's Demlarva Open in Sudlersville, Md.

Kimmins won the 12-Gauge Skeet event in a four-way shootoff after connecting on 99-of-100 targets in the regular portion of the event on his way to winning the top spot in Class A along with College Champion and Triple Sub Champion. In the 20-Gauge Skeet competition, the freshman hit 96-of-100 targets and captured the event in a shootoff. In Doubles Skeet, Kimmins was second with 97-of-100 targets hit. 

This is Kimmins' first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
