Senior volleyball player Izzy Diehl (Driftwood, Texas/Dripping Springs) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Diehl set a career-high in kills and the most kills by a Shorewoman in the 25-point set era.

Diehl hit .472 and averaged 5.22 kills per set in two matches this week with 47 total kills. On Thursday against St. Mary's (Md.), the senior hit .571 on a career-high 26 kills on just 42 hitting attemps, leading all players in finishers. Diehl is the first Shorewoman to tally 26 kills in a match since Katherine O'Brien '08 against Goucher on September 27, 2007, and the most kills in the 25-point set era which began in 2008. In Saturday's four-set victory over Rutgers-Camden, Diehl notched a match-topping 21 kills for her second 20-or-more kills in a match this week and hit .383 for the match. In the 89 attack attempts, Diehl had only five errors in the two matches.

This is Diehl's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
