LANCASTER, Pa. - Junior goalkeeper Calvin Field (Woodstock, Conn./Woodstock Academy) has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer for the week of September 21-27. This is the first time Field has won the Centennial's weekly award.

Field recorded his first two career shutouts and totaled 15 saves in a 1-0-1 week for the Shoremen. In the team's 2-0 win over visiting York (Pa.) on Tuesday night, Field denied a career-best nine shots and netted his first-ever clean sheet. The junior had four saves in the second half, including three when the team was nursing a 1-0 advantage. On Saturday evening against Dickinson, Field turned away six shots, including a shot ticketed for the upper right corner with 23:41 to go in the contest to keep the match tied and allowed the Shoremen to earn a draw.
 
This is the first time Shoremen Soccer has earned the defensive player of the award since Hannes Budde won it on September 9, 2025.
