Partners in Sportsmanship
Washington College values good sportsmanship and expects all participants and spectators at our intercollegiate athletic events to do the same. Spectators should treat student-athletes, coaches, officials, game personnel, and each other with respect by refraining from the use of profanity, offensive language, and intimidating actions - including, but not limited to, such acts based on sex, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender expression. Washington College intercollegiate athletic events are conducted in a safe and family-friendly environment. As such, public intoxication, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, illicit drugs, and weapons are prohibited. In addition, please refrain from the use of artificial noisemakers. Anyone violating the preceding guidelines may be asked to leave the premises at the discretion of the officials or game personnel. Thank you for being our partners in sportsmanship.Â
Pets
NO PETS, other than service animals, are allowed inside Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium, Cain Athletic Center, Casey Swim Center, or the Johnson Fitness Center. Pets are also prohibited on the bleachers at Athey Park and the WC Softball Field, but are allowed on the grassy areas surrounding those fields at the College's discretion.
