AT WC: Named team's Most Improved Player in 2013 ... went 2-3 in eight starts with a team-best 2.79 ERA and a team-high 32 strikeouts against just nine walks in 51.2 innings pitched in 2013 ... went 3-2 with a 4.84 ERA in 11 appearancs, including nine starts, in 2012 ... went 4-4 with a 5.69 ERA in 12 appearances, including a team-best nine starts, in 2011 ... went 4-2 with a 5.50 ERA in 10 apperances, four of them starts, as a freshman in 2010 .. BEFORE WC: Was a team captain as a senior at Lenape ... won Sportsmanship Award ... ALSO: Grandfather Ed played independent minor league baseball.
