Emily Ehrensbeck

Emily Ehrensbeck was named the assistant field hockey coach of the Shorewomen in the summer 2022. Ehrensbeck, a Washington College graduate, was a dual sport athlete playing field hockey and lacrosse for the Shorewomen from 2015 to 2019. She was a captain of the field hockey team, an all-conference performer on the lacrosse team, and participated in five Centennial Tournaments during her time with the Shorewomen.  
 
In her three seasons with the Shorewomen, she helped guide the team to the Centennial Conference Tournament in 2022, a win over #16 Ursinus in 2023 and victories over #16 Shenandoah, who reached the NCAA Tournament, and #24 Swarthmore in 2024. 

Prior to returning to Washington College, Ehrensbeck spent her time coaching at the high school level at St. Andrew's in Middletown, Delaware, and the Gunston School in Centreville, Maryland. She also worked as the Academic Resources Coordinator in the Office of Academic Skills for Washington College during the 2021-22 academic year.   

Ehrensbeck earned a B.A in Psychology from Washington College in 2019.Â
