Ryan Rigby

Ryan Rigby was named assistant men’s basketball coach of the Shoremen in October of 2021.

Ryan was a graduate manager at Division I Temple University, where he learned under two of Philadelphia’s royalty in Fran Dunphy and Aaron McKie. He assisted in all aspects of operations for the Owls, including scouting, recruiting, on court preparation and program wellness. Ryan earned a Master of Science in Sports Business with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Temple in 2020.

A Bristol, Pennsylvania native, Ryan was a starter as a freshman at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Madison before suffering a serious knee injury prior to his sophomore season. He went on to be awarded the “Comeback Player of the Year” as a junior. He also received the Dennis McAdam Scholarship Award, presented to the top student-athlete leader. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Administration from the school in 2018.

Ryan also sharpened his player development skills by working for HyPower Performance (Montville, NJ) and Precision Sports Performance (East Hanover, NJ). He worked as a basketball skills trainer at HyPower and was a strength and conditioning intern at Precision.

No stranger to the basketball camp scene, Ryan has worked at the Hoop Group, Columbia University, Seton Hall and Game Face Wipes camps throughout his early career.
