Team captain ... AT WC: Led team in blocks (18), was second on the team in rebounding (5.7 per game), and third in scoring (10.7 per game) and assists (46) while starting all 23 games as a senior ... was named his team's Most Improved Player for the second year in a row in 2008-09 ... finished third on the team in scoring (10.1 points per game), second in blocks (13), and fourth in rebounding (4.1 rebounds per game) in 2008-09 ... had a breakout 2007-08 season, earning team's Most Improved Player award after finishing third on the team in scoring and second in blocked shots ... scored 12 points in 16 games as a freshman in 2006-07 ... BEFORE WC: Played basketball, baseball, golf, and football at Towson High School ... served as team captain ... was inducted into the National Honor Society and was Vice President of the Future Business Leaders of America in high school.
