Dr. Tom Bowman has served as an volunteer assistant coach for Shoremen Soccer since the 2018 season. During this time, the Shoremen have made four Centennial Conference Tournaments, went to two NCAA Tournaments including the Final Four in 2023 and the 2021 Centennial Conference Championship.

Bowman served as the head coach of Shoremen Soccer from 1982-89. In his final season as head coach of the team, Washington scored a program-record 18 goals against Delaware Valley.
