Corey DeShields was named an assistant coach for women's basketball at Washington College in the summer of 2023. 

In his two seasons with the Shorewomen, the team won 31 games, reached the Centennial Conference Tournament twice and the semifinal round of the tournament in the 2024-25 season. 

DeShields earned an Associate’s Degree from Delaware Tech in 2022.
