Charlie Ginex

Charlie Ginex was named Head Volleyball Coach in July of 2024.  

In his first season with the Shorewomen, he guided the team to a 12-12 record, their best mark in seven years. Washington won seven straight matches from September 14-28, winning all seven in three sets. 

In 2025, the Shorewomen achieved their first winning season since 2017 with an 18-10 record. The squad won 13 straight matches from September 3-October 1, the longest since prevailing in 15 consecutive matches that spanned the 1977 and 1978 seasons. Washington won of the 13 in three sets and had just one match reach five.
 
Before Washington College, Ginex served his longest coaching stint to date at Kean University from 2013-2021. Ginex was the winningest coach in program history, ending his tenure with a record of 186-54, a winning percentage of .775. He led the team to five NCAA Tournaments, six straight Conference Titles, and three Coach of the Year Honors. He has coached 14 All-Americans, 13 All-Region Selections, eight Player of the Year Selections, and three Setter of the Year Selections.  
 
Since 2023, Coach Ginex has served as the Head of Player Development at Momentum Volleyball in Middletown, Delaware. In this position, he led camps, clinics and training staff, while also managing a jump training program for players, and coaching multiple teams.   

Ginex is a 2000 graduate of Rowan University.
