Grace Holmes

Grace Holmes joined the Washington College Sports Medicine Department in the 2026–27 academic year. Her primary sports are women's soccer, women's tennis, men's rowing, men's lacrosse, men's and women's swimming.

Holmes joins Washington College after completing a clinical immersion with the University of Maryland men’s lacrosse team. Prior to her time with the Terps, she completed clinical rotations at both the high school and collegiate levels, gaining experience working with a variety of sports.
During the summer of 2025, Grace also completed an internship with the Columbia Fireflies, the Kansas City Royals’ Single-A affiliate. 

She earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2026 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Guilford College. While at Guilford, she was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team and served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Board.

Grace is a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard and Mental Health First Aid certified. She is also Level 1 and Level 2 Dry Needling certified.
In her free time, you can find Grace spending time outdoors in Kent County, visiting the local coffee shops, or immersed in a good book.  A Chestertown native, she is excited to be back home and resides locally with her cat, George.
