Sixth-Ranked Diplomats Oust Shorewomen in Centennial Semifinals, 19-5

LANCASTER, PA -- Top-seed and sixth-ranked Franklin & Marshall built a 16-4 halftime lead en route to a 19-5 win over visiting Washington College this afternoon in a Centennial Conference Tournament semifinal game.  The Diplomats (15-2) advance to tomorrow's championship game, while the Shorewomen finish their season at 11-5.

Erin Dunne led the Diplomats with five goals and two assists in the win, while Lauren Ehrhardt had three goals and four assists. Katie Delaney and Paige Burns each scored two goals for F&M.

Five different Shorewomen scored one goal a piece for the Shorewomen in the loss - senior attacker Sarah Cannon (Baltimore, MD/Notre Dame Prep), sophomore attacker Corinne Ziccardi (Baltimore, MD/Loch Racen), sophomore midfielder Mollie Shipley (Denville, NJ/Morris Catholic), junior attacker Kalli Parrish (Timonium, MD/McDonogh School) and freshman midfielder Carly Eisenbrandt (Baltimore, MD/Towson). Parrish also had an assist. 

F&M held a 32-12 advantage in shots in the game.
