Shoremen Win Every Game in Bottom Half of Singles, Bottom Two Doubles Spots
WESTMINSTER, Md. — Visiting Washington College cruised to a 9-0 victory over host McDaniel College in the Centennial Conference men's tennis opener for both schools this afternoon in Westminster, Md. The Shoremen, who improved to 2-6 overall, did not drop a single game in the bottom half of the singles line-up or in the bottom two doubles spots. McDaniel fell to 0-3 with the loss.

Doubles
- Ryland Byrd and Justin Panepinto were 8-4 winners over Will Giles and Corey Glocker at No. 1.
- Jeremy Novick and Luke Weaver blanked Andrew Kendrick and Matthew Diers, 8-0, at No. 2, while Jake Sandler and Zack Novick won by the same score against Tate Myers and Carter Trousdale at No. 3.
Singles
- Byrd beat Giles, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 1, Sandler bested Glocker, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 2, and Panepinto topped Diers, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 3.
- Jeremy Novick beat Kendrick, Zack Novick blanked Trousdale, and Weaver downed Myers by identical 6-0, 6-0, counts at Nos. 4, 5, and 6, respectively.
