CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Host Washington College set the tone early and coasted to a 14-2 Centennial Conference women's lacrosse victory over visiting Bryn Mawr tonight on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen scored three times in the first 3:38 of the game before the Owls' scored on the first of their two shots of the first half. The Shorewomen then picked their spots, running chunks of time off the clock each possession.
- Washington held a 9-1 lead with 11:03 left in the period and, following a successful clear, burned off the final 5:53 of the half without taking a shot. The Shorewomen held a 19-2 advantage in shots in the first half. Kristy Grovom, Katherine Vincent, and Morgen Moran each scored twice in the half.sw
- The Shorewomen scored five goals on 14 shots in the second half, while Bryn Mawr got on the board once more on Fiona Steele's second goal of the game. The highlight of the half may have come with under a minute to go when Washington senior defender and captain Rachel Kurtz scored her first career goal on just her second career shot to complete the night's scoring.
