Box Score Kendall scores twice in loss
CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Fifth-ranked Gettysburg ended the game on a 9-0 run en route to a 14-3 win over host Washington College in a Centennial Conference women's lacrosse game this afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Bullets improve to 13-1 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen drop to 9-6 overall and 4-3 in the Centennial with the loss.

How It Happened
- Carley Kendall gave Washington the 1-0 lead with 27:53 to play in the half on an unassisted goal. Maggie Connolly tied the game at 1-1 on an unassisted goal with 25:25 to go in the half.
- Cecily Docktor then took a pass from Alli Dudley and scored with 22:50 to play in the half to give the Shorewomen a 2-1 lead.
- The Bullets then scored three goals in a span of 26 seconds to grab a 4-2 lead. Connolly's second goal of the half tied the game at 2, followed by a Katie Landry goal just nine seconds later to give the Bullets a 3-2 lead. 17 seconds after that, Amanda Borucki scored to cap the quick 3-0 run.
- Landry's second goal of the day capped a 4-0 Gettysburg run and made it a 5-2 Bullets lead with 16:53 to play in the half, but Kendall scored on a free position shot to cut the lead to 5-3 with 13:26 to play.
- Maggie Welsh rounded out the first half scoring with a goal off a Landry assist with 11:09 to play to give the Bullets a 6-3 lead at the half.
- The Bullets extended their run into the second half, as Welsh's second goal of the day with 27:07 to go, followed by Connolly's third, gave the Bullets an 8-3 lead with 24:35 to go. Connolly's fourth goal of the game extended the Bullets lead to 9-3 with 16:07 to play.
- An extra man goal from Emily Tropsa pushed the lead to 10-3, followed by a Katie Willis free position goal with 8:32 to go to give the Bullets an 11-3 lead.
- Borucki's second goal with 5:51 to go, followed by an Abby Baigelman tally with 4:44 to play, pushed the lead to 13-3, before Steph Colson capped the scoring with 13 seconds to play to provide the final margin.
For the Shorewomen (9-6, 4-3 CC)

- Goalie: Haylee Solomon (6 saves, 12 goals allowed, 54:09), Maddie Mullen (0 saves, 2 goals allowed, 5:51)
- Madison Schutz led the Shorewomen defense with team highs of three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
