Savoth Scores in Loss for Shoremen

HAVERFORD, Pa. — Host Haverford College topped visiting Washington College, 2-1, in a Centennial Conference men's soccer game this afternoon on Walton Field.

How It Happened
- After a scoreless first half, the Fords got on the board in the 54th minute when Peter Baroff scored from two yards out off an assist from Nick Jannelli.
- Jannelli scored a goal into the upper right corner off an assist from Michael Carr at 83:54 to push the lead to 2-0.
- The Shoremen got on the board shortly thereafter as Evan Savoth scored off a corner kick from James Strine at the 84:28 mark.
