Box Score Shorewomen Win Five Matches by Shutout
CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The Washington College women's tennis team improved to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in Centennial Conference play with a 9-0 win over visiting Muhlenberg this afternoon at Schottland Tennis Center.

Doubles
- Alisha White and Ella Samer blanked Maria Stere and Meghan Olsen, 8-0, at No. 1.
- Riley Katzman and Cecilia Cress topped Shelby Knafo and Carly Lodise, 8-1, at No. 2, and Sarah Bruno and Mariah Thomas downed Rose Glantz and Jessica Sommer by the same score at No. 3.
Singles
- White beat Stere at No. 1, Samer beat Olsen at No. 2, and Bruno topped Lodise at No. 4, all by identical 6-0, 6-0, scores.
- Cress added a 7-5, 6-0, win against Knafo at No. 3, Katzman bested Sommer, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 5 and Thomas beat Glantz, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 6.
Notes
- The Mules fell to 1-8 and 0-3 with the loss.
