Box Score Keefe Scores Career-High Four Goals and Hands Out Personal-Best Five Points
GLASSBORO, N.J. – Visiting Washington College scored the game's first six goals and raced out to an 8-1 halftime lead on its way to a 13-3 victory at Rowan in a non-conference women's lacrosse game on Wednesday afternoon at Wackar Stadium. The Shorewomen improve to 2-3 on the year, while the Profs drop to 2-3.

How It Happened
- Washington wasted little time taking the lead for good as it did it only 11 seconds into the game on an Aubrey Robinson score from Lauren Brenner.
- Leading 2-0, Colleen Keefe scored consecutive goals to make it 4-0 with 17:13 remaining in the first half on a pass from Hannah Lee.
- Olivia Miller capped the 6-0 game-opening run for the Shorewomen with 13:54 left in the first on an assist from Ellie Morrall. For Morrall, it is her first career assist and point.
- Abby Daigle got the Profs on the board with 12:37 remaining with Julianna Corson getting the assist to cut the lead to 6-1. However, WC got goals from Anna Bennett and Keefe respectively to cap the first half scoring as the Shorewomen took an 8-1 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, WC scored the first four goals to take a 12-1 lead with 15:17 remaining on a goal by Sydney Allender with Molly Johnston chalking up the helper.
- Rowan scored two of the game's final three goals to provide the final margin.
For The Shorewomen (2-3)
- Scoring: Keefe (four goals and one assist), Brenner (three assists), Lee (goal and two assists), Bennett, Miller and Caroline Bailey (two goals), Allender (goal and assist)
- In Goal: Sydney Wingate (30:00, four saves, one goals), Brigid Monahan (30:00, four saves, two goals)
- Bennett (six draw controls), Catherine Keirn and Melissa Donato (three groundballs) and Meghan Dean (two caused turnovers)
- The Shorewomen won 10 of the game's 18 draw controls.
- WC went 16-for-20 in clears, went 1-for-3 in free position shots and 14 ground balls while outshooting the Profs 28-17.
For Rowan (2-3)
- Scoring: Daigle, Jamie Cutrera and Michaela Donnelly (goal)
- In Goal: Reilly Shaup (60:00, 11 saves, 13 goals)
- Julia Grilca (four draw controls)
- The Profs went 13-for-19 in clears and had four more turnovers than WC, 17-13.
- Rowan went 0-for-4 in free position chances and totaled 11 ground balls.
Notes
- Today was Washington's second largest margin of victory over Rowan. The largest margin was 11 goals seven years ago in a 17-6 win during the 2013 season.
- Brenner moved past Sarah Cannon '11 for 20th place all-time in career points as she is now at 136. Cannon tallied 135 points in her four years with the team.
