Box Score Devlin and Keefe Establish Career-Highs in Goals, Assists and Points; Laubach Ties Program Mark for Draws in a Game in Setting Personal-Best
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Visiting Washington College got career-highs of seven goals, three assists and 10 points from junior attacker Colleen Keefe (Timonium, Md./Notre Dame Prep), personal-bests of three goals, five assists and eight points from freshman attacker Ashley Devlin (Margate City, N.J./Ocean City) and all-time best 11 draw controls from freshman defender/midfielder Abby Laubach (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township), which ties the program mark for draws in a single game, in an 18-3 win over host Ursinus on Saturday afternoon at Patterson Field in Centennial Conference women's lacrosse action. The Shorewomen improve to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference, while the Bears are 0-1 in overall and Centennial play.

How It Happened
- Leading 2-1 with 20:33 left in the first half, Washington scored six unanswered goals to take an 8-1 lead with 3:03 left in the half on a Keefe up goal from Devlin. Olivia Miller started the run with an unassisted goal with 20:17 left. Five different Shorewomen scored during the run with Keefe netting a pair.
- Abby Krasutsky closed out the scoring in the first as scored unassisted with 1:32 left to trim Bears' deficit to 8-2.
- The Shorewomen scored the opening seven goals of the second half to take a 15-2 lead with 13:43 in the game on a score by Sydney Allender with Keefe netting the helper. Devlin assisted on four of the seven goals during the run.
- From 20:17 left in the first half to 13:43 remaining in the game, WC outscored Ursinus 13-1.
- Keefe scored her seventh goal to set her personal-best with 5:44 left to cap the scoring with Laubach tallying the assist.
For The Shorewomen (3-2, 2-1 CC)
- Scoring: Keefe (seven goals, three assists, 10 points; all career-highs), Devlin (personal-bests of three goals, five assists and eight points), Miller (three goals to set personal-best), Anna Bennett (all-time bests of three assists and five points; two goals), Morgan Sutherland (goal and assist)
- In Goal: Sydney Wingate (60:00, six saves, three goals, two ground balls)
- Laubach (career-highs of 11 draws and four ground balls), Meghan Dean (four ground balls)
- The Shorewomen outshot the hosts 39-13, won 17 of the game's 23 draw controls and had 10 caused turnovers.
- WC went 16-for-17 in clears, went 1-for-5 in free position shots and picked up 23 ground balls.
For Ursinus (0-1, 0-1 CC)
- Scoring: Hanna Crowley (two goals)
- In Goal: Alexa Machado (60:00, 13 saves, 18 goals)
- Molly Divis (three ground balls)
- The Bears went 15-for-23 in clears and had 10 more turnovers than WC, 19-9.
- Ursinus went 1-for-1 in free position chances, totaled nine ground balls and recorded six caused turnovers.
Notes
- Keefe is the first Washington player to have 10 points in a game since Katherine Vincent '17 had 10 at Muhlenberg in 2017.
- Laubach is the second WC player to win 11 draws in a game as she joins Emily Hubley '15 who had two 11 draw efforts in 2013.
- The 15-goal win is the largest margin of victory for the Shorewomen against the Bears.
