Box Score Team Wins All Seven Matches Played
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Visiting Washington College improved to 3-0 in Centennial Conference play with a 7-2 win over host Ursinus on Saturday afternoon at Bailey Courts in women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen won both doubles matches that were contested. Ella Samer and Bin Nguyen won at No. 2 doubles over Brenna Trkula and Avery Samer, 8-2, and at No. 1 doubles, Irene Meng and Alisha White came away with an 8-2 win over Maddie Russell and Cara Freedman.
- Ursinus's tandem of Caitlin Visionhaler and Claire Burke were awarded victory at No. 3 doubles as Washington was unable to field a team.
Singles
- All five matches that were played were sweeps by the Shorewomen. Meng won, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 1 singles over Russell, Ella Samer swept Visionhaler, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 3 singles, White won in straight sets over Avery Samer at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-3, Nguyen topped Burke at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-3, and Piper Sartison was at No. 2 singles got the better of Trkula, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).
- Washington was unable to field a player at No. 6 singles and Jessica Leach was credited with the victory for the Bears.
Notes
- The Shorewomen are 4-1 on the season, while the Bears are 1-1. WC is 3-0 in the conference, while Ursinus is 1-1 in the Centennial.
- Ursinus' Avery Samer is the sister of Washington's Ella Samer.
