Box Score Meng Wins in Both Singles and Doubles
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Dickinson edged host Washington College, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon at the Schottland Tennis Center in Centennial Conference women's tennis action. It was the season finale for both teams.

Doubles
- No. 1 doubles finished first and Irene Meng and Alisha White of WC came away with an 8-3 victory over the Red Devils' team of Martine Fierro and Rachel Flame.
- Dickinson's tandem of Hanna Butler and Ariana Goitz topped the Shorewomen's Ella Samer and Bin Nguyen at No. 2 doubles, 8-6.
- The Red Devils' duo of Neve Brennan and Molly Michel were awarded victory at No. 3 doubles as Washington was unable to field a team.
Singles
- Meng won the first singles to conclude as she topped Fierro, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 1 singles.
- Nguyen swept Michel at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-2.
- Butler won the next match to conclude as she topped Piper Sartison, 6-2, 6-2.
- Goitz clinched the win for Dickinson at No. 4 singles as she topped White in three sets, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1.
- Samer won the final match to finish at No. 3 singles as she won her final career match in a comeback win over Flame, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
- Washington was unable to field a player at No. 6 singles Brennan was credited with the victory for the Red Devils.
Notes
- Both teams finished 5-2 in conference play. The Shorewomen were 6-3 on the season, while the Red Devils were 5-2.
- Samer played in her final career match for Washington this afternoon.
