Audrey Flanagan (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) snapped a 1-1 tie with 16:53 left in the first half and it would stand up as the winner as visiting Washington College came away with a 2-1 win over host Bryn Mawr on Saturday afternoon at Applebee Field in a Centennial Conference women's soccer contest. The Shorewomen are now 6-3-6 overall and 2-2-4 in the Centennial, while the Owls drop to 1-11-3 and 0-8-1 respectively.  Â

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen took the lead 4:43 into the game as the cross from
Paige O'Connell could not be handled by the Bryn Mawr defense and
Kayla Streett got to the ball and put it in for her first goal of the season.
- Bryn Mawr would tie it at the 14:32 mark when
Amanda Cruz stole the ball from Washington and her pass found
Paige Mastripolito and her shot from the left side of the top of the box found its way into the left side of the goal to level the match at 1-1.
- Flanagan would get her winner as she got around an Owl defender, passed the ball to herself from the left side of the box from 10 yards out chipped a shot over the head of Bryn Mawr goalie

- In the second half, Bryn Mawr's final chance came with 18:58 left on a
Daniela Dosen shot, but Washington keeper
Hailey Sharpe made the save and the defense would not allow another shot by the hosts..
