Box Score Washington Scores Final Four Goals of the Game
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Senior defender/midfielder Molly Sharpe (Towson, Md./Notre Dame Prep) scored a career-high five goals, including the game-winning score with 8:28 left in the fourth quarter as visiting Washington College scored the last four goals of the game to come away with a 10-7 win over host Ursinus on Wednesday night at Patterson Field in Centennial Conference women's lacrosse action. The Shorewomen improve to 5-8 overall and 3-3 in the conference, while the Bears are 7-7 in overall and 2-4 in Centennial play.

How It Happened
- Ursinus' Reilly Morgan scored the game's first two goals to give the Bears a 2-0 lead with 6:21 left in the first quarter.
- Morgan Sutherland would tie the game 2-2 with 28 seconds to go in the first to send the game to the second tied.
- Sharpe put Washington ahead for the first time 62 ticks into the second quarter, 3-2.
- The Bears would score the next three to take a 5-3 lead with 4:23 to go in the second on Morgan's third of the game from Mary Michaud.
- Sharpe scored her third of the contest with 2:38 left in the quarter from Sutherland to trim the lead to 5-4 and that would be the halftime score.
- Each team scored once in the third with Sharpe chalking up her fourth with 3:31 left to knot it at 5-5 before Grace Lynch scored on a free position with 14 seconds left to give the Bears a 6-5 advantage heading into the fourth.
- In the fourth quarter, Ursinus took a 7-6 lead with 10:32 remaining on a Lynch goal before Washington scored the final four times to come away with the win.
- Ellie Morrall tied it at 7-7 just 39 seconds after Lynch's goal and Sharpe put the Shorewomen ahead for good. 8-7, with 8:28 to go in the contest on a pass from Abby Laubach. Tobin Chambers gave Washington a two-goal advantage with 7:30 remaining and Morrall capped the decisive run with 4:12 left as the Shorewomen outscored the Bears 5-1 in the fourth.

- Scoring: Sharpe (career-highs of five goals and five points to lead all players), Chambers and Morrall (two goals) Sutherland (goal and two assists)
- In Goal: Sydney Wingate (60:00, four saves, seven goals allowed, career-best five ground balls)

- The Shorewomen outshot the hosts 31-16, won 11 of the game's 21 draw controls and had 10 caused turnovers.
- WC went 13-for-16 in clears, went 1-for-2 in free position shots and picked up 20 ground balls.

- In Goal: Alexa Machado (60:00, 13 saves, 10 goals allowed)

- The Bears went 15-for-20 in clears and had 13 more turnovers than WC, 20-7.
- Ursinus went 1-for-1 in free position chances, totaled 13 ground balls and recorded four caused turnovers.

- Prior to tonight, Sharpe's career-best in goals was two and points was three.
- Washington has won five straight at Ursinus, prevailing in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2021 and tonight.
