Box Score Washington to Travel to F&M on Wednesday in CC Tournament
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College, ranked 18th in the Atlantic South Region, won its regular se Muhlenberg on Wednesday night at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center in Centennial Conference women's tennis action. The Shorewomen will travel to four seed Franklin & Marshall next Wednesday in the first round of the Centennial Conference Tournament with the time to be determined.

Doubles
- Washington's No. 2 doubles team of Bin Nguyen and Irene Meng topped Muhlenberg's duo of Rose Glantz and Malin Hermanson, 8-0.
- Alisha White and María Cristina Diaz-Nazario took care of business for the Shorewomen at No. 1 doubles in an 8-2 win over the Mules' Caroline Armknecht and Sophia Framm.
- The Shorewomen's tandem of and Piper Sartison and Katie Ruppert won at No. 3 doubles by default as Muhlenberg was unable to field a team.
Singles
- Meng, ranked 23rd in the Atlantic South, handled Armknecht, 6-0, 6-1, at the top flight.
- No. 2 singles was won by White as she prevailed, 6-0, 6-2, over Framm.
- Nguyen captured victory at No. 4 singles as she topped Stefanie Wolff, 6-1, 6-1.
- Ruppert downed Hermanson, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 5.
- Diaz-Nazario led Glantz 1-0 in the first set before having to retire as Muhlenberg got its lone way of the afternoon.
Notes
- The Shorewomen are 11-6 on the season, while the Mules finish their season 5-10. WC concludes at 5-4 in the conference, while Muhlenberg finishes 0-9 in the Centennial.
- Washington will be competing in its 12th Centennial Conference Tournament which has been in existence since 2006. It is the team's first trip to the conference tournament since 2018.
- The team honored White, its lone senior, prior to the match.
