CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Salisbury got a match-high 11 kills from Amanda Chew in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-21) win over host Washington College on Tuesday night at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium in non-conference action. The Sea Gulls improve to 7-1 on the season, while the Shorewomen are now 4-3.

How It Happened
- Washington led 8-5 in the first set following a service ace by
Giselle Kleinbussink (Gaithersburg, Md., Wootton) before Salisbury won seven of the next eight points to take a 12-9 lead on an assisted block by Delaney Madsen and Angelina Casserly.
- Leading 14-10 in the second set, the Sea Gulls went on an 11-2 set-closing run to win the set. Chew tallied a kill to clinch the second.
- The Sea Gulls held a 22-20 lead in the third and final set before winning three of the last four points to win the set and match. An attack miscue by the Shorewomen ended the contest.
