Junior men's soccer player Anthony Pinto (Matawan, N.J., Christian Brothers Academy) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Pinto posted a three-save shutout in the 14th-ranked Shoremen's season opener on Thursday night versus visiting Salisbury.

Pinto tallied his ninth career clean sheet in the blanking of Salisbury. He made two of his three saves in the second half and with just under three minutes to go cleared the ball from the top of the box to prevent a Salisbury player from an open net scoring chance. Dating back to the beginning of the 2021 Centennial Conference Tournament, the junior has registered five shutouts in six contests.

This is Pinto's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
