Frederick, Md. – The visiting Washington College Shorewomen dominated most of the play but came away with a 0-0 draw against the Hood Blazers, on Wednesday evening at Thomas Athletic Field.
The tie kept the Shorewomen unbeaten at 2-0-1 while the Blazers now stand at 0-0-2.
How It Happened
-The Shorewomen held a substantial 16-2 advantage in total shot attempts on the evening but were unable to sneak one by goalkeeper Brenna Ellenberger (5 saves).
-Washington College senior goalie
Gillian Slavick (Toms River, N.J., Toms River North) played all 90 minutes and did not have to make a save.
-Junior forward
Audrey Flanagan (Huntingtown, Md., Huntingtown) fired a team-high five shots while senior forward
Paige O'Connell (Fairfield, Conn., Fairfield-Ludlowe)blasted three attempts.

- The Shorewomen defeated Hood by a 2-0 score last season in Chestertown.
