CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Muhlenberg used a 16-2 first half run to grab a 23-9 lead and never relinquished the advantage in a 90-63 win on Saturday afternoon over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Mules improve to 10-5 overall and 5-3 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen fall to 2-12 and 1-7 respectively.

How It Happened
- After Washington's
Kedrick Frink layup tied the game at 7-7 with 17:51 left in the first half, Muhlenberg would take control of the contest with 16 of the next 18 points to take a 23-9 lead with 13:29 to go in the opening stanza on a
Jayson Williams-Johnson traditional three-point play.
- The Shoremen would score 10 of the following 15 points to cut the Mules' lead to 28-19 with 10:59 left on a
Precieux Tshibangu lay-in.
- That would be as close as WC would get as Muhlenberg outscored Washington 25-9 the rest of the half to take a 53-28 lead into halftime with
Giovanni Rubino converting a free throw with 40 ticks left to cap the scoring.
- In the second half, the Mules opened the half on a 19-5 spurt to take their biggest lead of the game, 72-33, with 12:22 left on a Justin Allen lay-in.
- Washington would outscore Muhlenberg, 30-18, the rest of the way for the final margin.
