CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Washington College men's basketball team played host to Franklin & Marshall on Kurt Keller '86 Alumni Day. The Shoremen started out hot from deep, hitting seven first half threes to jump out to a 10-point first half lead. F & M responded, finishing the half on a 28-11 run at the break. The Dips owned the paint and the foul-line in the second half, spurring on a 92-76 on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gym.Â

How It Happened
- The Shoremen came out hot from three, shooting 7-for-12 from downtown in the first half.
Ryan Lang (Fr./New Market, Md.)Â led Washington with 11 points with
Kedrick Frink (Jr./Sunderland, Md.) scoring double figures in the first half as well with ten. The 3-point barrage early gave the Shoremen a 23-13 lead through the first nine minutes.Â
-Down double-digits early, F&M used the 3-ball themselves in a 14-0 run that gave them the lead at 27-23.
Sam Corrao (Jr./Salfrod, Pa.) finally stopped the bleeding with a three of his own. Poor free-throw shooting plagued the Dips, finishing 6-for-16 in the opening half. In the final minute, they got a few to fall along with a runner by Vakaris Grauslys before the buzzer to cap a 7-0 run to give the Dips a 41-34 halftime lead.Â
- Both teams traded baskets during the first ten minutes of the second half. Josh Parra led the Dips on a 7-0 run to push their lead to 64-51 with 9:24 remaining.Â
-After struggling from the charity stripe in the first half, the Dips shot 19-for-22 in the second. That along with dominance in the paint kept the Dips up double digits for the final nine minutes in route to a 92-76 win.Â

Kedrick Frink led the Shoremen with 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Frink finished 9-for-12 from the floor and 8-for-11 from the foul-line.

Nick Romeo (Sr./Ambler, Pa.) (12) all finished in double-figures. Land and Corrao both tied for the game-high in threes with three.Â
- WC shot 50% from the floor (27-for-54), 40.9% from three-point range (9-for-22) and 76.5% (13-for-17) from the foul line in the game.
For Franklin & Marshall (10-9, 5-7 CC)Â
- Vakaris Grauslys paced the Dips with 18 points. Josh Parra shot 7-for-10 from the floor to finish with 16 along six boards. John Seidman finished with a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards. Omar Nichols added 13 points, tying the game high with three hits from deep.Â
- The Dips shot 54.5% from the floor (30-for-55), 43.8% from three-point land (7-for-16) and 65.8% from the foul stripe (25-for-38).Â
