GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Washington College men's soccer traveled to Gettysburg for a conference matchup with the Bullets on Saturday night. The rain was coming down for most of the first half, creating problems for both teams on the slick surface. In the 25
th minute of the game,
Ben Strine lined up a shot from distance than skipped under the goalie and into the back of the net. Just 1:51 later, Strine made it two with a breakaway finish. The Shoremen extended the lead early into the second half through
Shepherd Koffie as they wrapped up a 3-0 win.Â

How It Happened
- Both teams had attempts on goal in the opening twenty minutes but the first goal came from Strine's effort from distance. Just under two minutes later, Strine brushed off a defender to latch onto a through ball and make it 2-0 to the Shoremen. That would be the score line at halftime.

-With the rain ending, the Shoremen made it 3-0 just eight minutes into the second half.
Harrison Malone fired a shot from distance than stayed on the turf until it hit the post. The Bullets failed to clear the ball on the rebound and
Shepherd Koffie was there the fire home the third goal.Â
