CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College got double-doubles from sophomore outside hitter
Giselle Kleinbussink (Gaithersburg, Md./Wootton) (squad-best 11 kills and contest-topping 11 digs) and freshman setter
Raegan Moran (Goodyear, Ariz./Estrella Foothills) (team-high 15 assists and 10 digs) in a 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-20) win over visiting Ursinus on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference volleyball action at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Shorewomen improve to 7-12 overall and 2-2 in the conference, while the Bears drop to 9-11 and 1-4 respectively.  Â

How It Happened
- Ursinus scored six of the first eight points of the first set and led 12-9 following a
Mel Eglinton kill before Washington flipped the set with a 11-2 run to take a 20-14 lead on an attack error by the Bears.Â
Logan Kenny clinched the opening set with a kill.
- Tied at 23-23 in the second set, the Shorewomen won the final two points to take a 2-0 lead. A hitting miscue by Ursinus made it 24-23 WC and
Angelina Schaber secured the second set with a finisher.  Â
- Leading 21-20, WC won the final four points to win the set and match.Â
Lindsay Saddic started the run with a kill and Schaber finished off the contest with a kill of her own.
For The Shorewomen (7-12, 2-2 CC)
- Kleinbussink (team-best 11 kills and contest-high 11 digs), Moran (15 assists and 10 digs), McKechnie (12 assists),
Gianna Romano (two aces),
Victoria Kile (10 digs and six assists)
- Team hit .238 in the match and recorded seven blocks and aces.

- The Bears hit .157 in the contest to go along with four blocks and two aces.
Notes
- Saddic, who had nine kills and hit .412, was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewoman Player of the Match.
- Moran had her fourth double-double of the season and second straight, while Kleinbussink registered her fifth double-double of the campaign.
- WC is 8-3 in its last 11 versus Ursinus, including seven in a row from 2012-18.
