ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Washington College men's soccer traveled to Allentown, Pa. to take on the host Muhlenberg Mules and came away with a 2-0 win courtesy of two second half goals on Saturday night at Varsity Field in Centennial Conference men's soccer action. The Shoremen, who clinched a bye into the semifinal round of the upcoming Centennial Conference Tournament, improved to 10-1-5 overall and 6-1-1 in the Centennial, while the Mules dropped to 9-3-2 and 4-2-2 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Mules made the first move with an early shot from
Chris Richards 6:08 into the game which was saved by
Anthony Pinto. WC would outshoot the Mules 5-3 in the first half of action that saw neither side score.
- While the Shoremen were outshot in the second half 12-5, WC was able to send a pair of shots to the back of the net in order to secure the road victory.
- The scoring did not start until the second half where a
Tucker Sprano goal from
Katim Njie would put the Shoremen ahead with 36:23 to go in the game. The visitors extended their lead with a
Tyler Davidson pass to
Mayowa Taiwo who would secure the second goal at the 74:00 mark.  Â
