READING, Pa. – The visiting Washington College volleyball team topped host Albright 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-18) on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match at the Bollman Center. The Shorewomen improve to 6-11 on the season, while the Lions drop to 13-5.

How it Happened
-Â The Lions started fast in the first set, jumping out to a 6-2 lead in the first set. The Shorewomen however would rally and score five of the last six points to secure the first set on a
Chelsea Elliott kill.
-Â WC jumped out with a five-point run to commence the second set. The Shorewomen would extend their lead 11-5 after another four-point run before closing the set off an Albright service error.
-Â The Shorewomen would score the first point in set three before giving up the next two points. WC would pull ahead later in the set with a five point run stretching their lead to 21-16.
Angelina Schaber would wrap up the match securing the final three kills of the set.Â
