How it Happened:
Â
-Swarthmore started fast on the road, jumping out to a 16-5 lead in the opening set. Â
-Set two saw another fast start by the Garnet, jumping out to a 14-5 lead. The Shorewomen sparked another run to cut the lead to 19-15. Despite the charge, three straight errors by Washington gave the Garnet the cushion they needed to take set two comfortably in the end.Â
Â
